Please use the netZima® website responsibly and, before proceeding, read this privacy policy, the cookie policy and the legal notice and terms of use of the website, as their content is binding on you as a user of the website. The owner of this website is netZima, S.L. (hereinafter, netZima®), a Spanish commercial company incorporated for an indefinite period. For more information about netZima®, read the legal notice. netZima® respects the fundamental rights, public freedoms and interests of all the people it deals with. For this reason, netZima® complies with all legal requirements on data protection, safeguarding, in accordance with them, the personal data it collects and processes.
A. Use of cookies
The icaria Technology website uses several types of cookies. Keep reading to learn which they are and what their purpose is.
B. What cookies are
Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that a server stores about a user on the user’s own device. The servers of the netZima website place meta-information on the hard disk of your computer and mobile devices (hereinafter, devices) through your web browsers, so that netZima® systems can recognise your browsers when you visit our website in the future.
C. Types of cookies
Depending on different classification criteria, cookies can be classified into the following types. According to the issuer of the cookies:
- First-party cookies: those sent to the user’s terminal equipment from a device or domain managed by the publisher itself (netZima®, in this case) and from which the service requested by the user is provided.
- Third-party cookies: those sent to the user’s terminal equipment from a device or domain that is not managed by the publisher but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.
According to the lifetime of the cookies:
- Session cookies: cookies designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a website.
- Persistent cookies: cookies whose data remain stored on the terminal and can be accessed and processed for a period defined by the party responsible for the cookie, which can range from a few minutes to several years.
According to the purpose for which the cookies are used:
- Technical cookies: those that allow the performance of basic tasks for the operation of any dynamic website. For example, they make it possible to know when a human being or an application is browsing and, in the first case, whether the user is anonymous or registered.
- Analytics cookies: those that, whether processed by us or by third parties, allow us to quantify the number of users and thus measure and statistically analyse how users use the service offered. To do so, your browsing on our website is analysed in order to improve the range of products or services we offer you.
- Advertising cookies: those that allow the management, as efficiently as possible, of the advertising spaces that the publisher may have included in a website, application or platform from which it provides the service requested, based on criteria such as the content edited or the frequency with which the ads are shown.
- Behavioural advertising cookies: those that allow the management, as efficiently as possible, of the advertising spaces that the publisher may have included in a website, application or platform from which it provides the service requested. These cookies store information on users’ behaviour obtained through the continuous observation of their browsing habits, which makes it possible to build a specific profile in order to show advertising based on it. Likewise, when you visit a website or open an email in which an ad or a promotion about our products or services is published, a cookie may be installed in your browser that allows us to show you, later, advertising related to the search you made, and to monitor our ads with regard, for example, to the number of times they are seen, where they appear, at what time they are seen, and so on.
D. Which cookies netZima® uses on its website, which data it collects through them and for what purposes
netZima® groups the cookies of its website into three categories, with the same names as in the cookie notice: “Necessary”, “Analytics” and “Marketing”. Necessary cookies are always set, because without them the website cannot remember your choice. Analytics and marketing cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie notice, and you can change your choice at any time (section E). The complete list of cookies, with their provider, purpose, category, duration and type, is at the end of this section.
Necessary cookies
netZima® uses a single necessary cookie, cc_cookie, which is a first-party cookie and stores your choice about cookies: the categories you have accepted, the date of your choice, the version of the notice and a random identifier of the choice. It allows your choice to be applied on every page and avoids asking you again on each visit. It does not store your IP address and is not used for analytics or advertising. Its duration is 12 months (section E).
Analytics cookies: Google Analytics 4
If you accept the “Analytics” category, netZima® uses Google Analytics 4, a Google service, to obtain usage statistics of the website: which pages are visited, how people reach them (for example, from a search engine or from a link), how long they stay on them, and the country, type of device and browser from which the visit is made. netZima® uses this information in aggregate form to improve the content and navigation of the website, and does not link it to your name or your contact details. Google consent mode
The website uses Google’s consent mode (Google Consent Mode v2) in its advanced implementation. In this mode, the Google Analytics and Google Ads tags load on every page, also before you choose and even if you reject cookies, but they adapt their behaviour to your choice:
- As long as you have not accepted the corresponding category, Google’s tags do not set or read analytics or advertising cookies on your device. They only send Google signals without cookies and without identifiers that would allow you to be recognised from one page to another or between visits: for example, that a page has been viewed, the status of your consent and the technical data that accompany any Internet connection, such as the IP address, the browser or the referring page. Ad click identifiers are left out of these signals.
- Google may use these signals to estimate, in aggregate form, the use of the website and the conversions of visitors who do not accept cookies.
- If you accept the “Analytics” or “Marketing” category, the tags start using the cookies of that category shown in the list of cookies.
Marketing cookies: Google Ads and HubSpot
If you accept the “Marketing” category, netZima® uses:
- Google Ads, a Google service, to measure the conversions of icaria ads and to allow Google to show you icaria ads on other websites after your visit (remarketing). Some of these cookies are third-party cookies and are set on the Google domain shown in the list of cookies.
- HubSpot, the customer relationship management tool (CRM) that netZima® uses, to record your visits to the website. If you submit a form, HubSpot links those visits to the contact created with the data you provide.
The website’s forms are managed with HubSpot. Forms loaded from HubSpot’s servers are shown directly if you have accepted the “Marketing” category; if you have not, they are shown only after you press a button and, until then, the page makes no connection to HubSpot. The data you enter in a form are sent to HubSpot when you submit it and are processed in accordance with the privacy policy.
YouTube videos
Some pages include YouTube videos, a Google service. Until you press the play button, the page shows only an image hosted on this website and makes no connection to YouTube. When you press it, the video loads from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, and from that moment Google may store or read information on your device in accordance with its own privacy policy.
Social networks
The website does not include share buttons or social network plug-ins. The links to icaria’s profiles on LinkedIn and YouTube are plain links: the social network receives no information about your visit until you press one of them, and from that moment its own privacy and cookie policies apply.
Providers
Google and HubSpot process the information they obtain through these cookies and signals in accordance with their own policies: Google privacy policy and HubSpot privacy policy. These providers may process the information outside the European Economic Area. For more information, see netZima®’s privacy policy.

E. How to accept, reject, change or withdraw your consent
On your first visit, the website shows a cookie notice with three options: “Accept all”, “Reject all” and “Settings”. With “Settings” you can accept or reject each category separately. You can keep browsing without choosing; until you do, no analytics or marketing cookies are set (without prejudice to the cookieless signals described in section D).
You can change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time with the “Cookie settings” button at the foot of every page. If you withdraw your consent for a category, the website stops using its cookies and deletes the first-party cookies of that category; third-party cookies, set on the provider’s domain, can only be deleted from your browser (section F). Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
Your choice, whether you accept or reject, is kept for 12 months in the cc_cookie cookie. After that period, or if the services that use cookies or their purposes change, the notice will be shown again so that you can choose again.
You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings (sections F, G and H). If you block all cookies, the website will not be able to remember your choice and the notice will be shown on every visit.
F. How to delete cookies after browsing our platform
Below we explain how to delete cookies when you finish browsing our website: if you use Google Chrome, go to “Settings” and the “Privacy and security” option. Select “Clear browsing data”. A pop-up menu will appear in which you can decide which information you want to delete, including cookies. If you use Firefox, go to “Preferences” and select the “Privacy & Security” option. Among the options, select “Cookies and Site Data” and click “Clear Data”. A pop-up menu will appear in which you can decide which information you want to delete, including cookies. If you use the Chrome browser on Android, go to the “Privacy and security” option through the “Settings” menu. A pop-up menu will appear in which you can decide which information you want to delete, including cookies. As you can see, the procedure is very similar in all browsers, so if you use a browser other than those mentioned, you will not find it difficult to locate the function to delete cookie data. You can also set up your system to delete all cookies automatically when the browsing session ends.
G. How to disable cookies before browsing our website
If you want to disable cookies from your browser, you can make your computer or device not store our cookies. We explain how below. If you use Google Chrome, open the “Settings” menu (usually in the top right corner, just to the right of the address bar), click the “Privacy and security” link and select “Cookies and other site data”. You will see the options available for cookies. If you use Firefox, open the “Preferences” menu (usually in the menu bar, just above the address bar), click “Privacy & Security” and look for the “Cookies and Site Data” section. You will see the options available. If you use the Chrome browser on Android, open the “Settings” menu (usually in the top right corner, next to the button to open a new tab), click the “Privacy and security” option and, in the pop-up menu, you can choose whether or not to accept cookies. If you use any other browser or platform, the process is very similar. You can find out more in the help menus of each of them.
H. More information on how cookies work, are used and are managed
With your browser you can also start a private browsing session so that your system does not store unwanted information on your hard disk. You can even see all the cookies your browser stores on your hard disk and, if you wish, delete them one by one. Finally, you should know that most browsers explain how to avoid accepting new cookies, how to be notified when a new cookie is received or how to disable cookies completely. If you want to know more about how cookies work, we recommend that you consult the “help” shown in your browsers’ toolbars (for example, pressing F1 on Windows computers also opens the help). J. Validity and modification of this cookie policy
This cookie policy has been in force since 15 June 2018. netZima® reserves the right to modify its cookie policy unilaterally in the event of a change in the legislation in force, in case law or in internal criteria. Any change made to this policy will be published at this same address.
