At icaria Technology, we continue working to provide features and improvements to our tools. These updates are focused on facilitating the management, protection, and delivery of data for our clients.
This quarter, we have implemented key enhancements to our products: icaria TDM, icaria GDPR, and icaria Studio. Below, we explore the most important improvements, focusing on how these new features address our clients' needs, optimizing data management and security.
In the disassociation process, which is essential for managing sensitive data in non-productive environments efficiently and securely, we have improved configuration management for different types of databases. This allows for greater adaptability to our clients' environments.
We have incorporated new features to facilitate the process, such as deleting generated files, exporting information, and better error visualization. These improvements optimize the quality of the process and reduce the time and effort required to manage disassociated data, simplifying the bulk disassociation that our users have highlighted as complex.
We have enhanced and extended the REST service for synthetic data generation, making integration with other platforms and applications easier, speeding up access, request management, and communication with icaria TDM.
The implementation of Artificial Intelligence is key to protecting sensitive data. Our improved system incorporates AI alongside our algorithmic approach to identify data that requires special protection more precisely and efficiently.
AI allows us to automate the identification of sensitive data and adapt to information patterns that could previously go unnoticed. With this advancement, our clients benefit from an additional security layer that enhances traditional methodologies, providing greater confidence and peace of mind.
This integration makes our clients' data security more proactive and adaptive, ensuring that every critical piece of information receives the necessary attention.
In icaria Studio, we have improved the performance and efficiency of the system. It is now possible to perform quick synchronizations for entities and submodels, allowing users to select multiple entities for simultaneous synchronization, preventing minor errors from halting the entire synchronization process.
Another significant improvement is the introduction of a multitenant architecture, which provides greater scalability and flexibility when managing multiple clients or work environments within the same system. Additionally, model validation has been strengthened, and options such as the automatic creation of extended entities from the CRUD pattern have been added, improving both the usability and robustness of the system.
The incorporation of a last-resort event handler and improvements in error visualization offer a better experience, allowing users to identify and resolve issues more quickly and effectively.
Furthermore, we have launched a lightweight web version that allows direct access from the browser and supports centralized authentication.
In icaria GDPR, we have improved the management of data portability rights. Now, our clients can easily export data in a structured format, meeting the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This enhancement is particularly useful for organizations seeking to be transparent with their users and manage rights over personal data in an agile and precise manner.
To enhance security, we have also improved the granular permissions control. This ensures that only authorized users can perform specific actions on personal data, thus guaranteeing secure and controlled data handling.
At icaria Technology, we are also making strides in migrating to a more modern and intuitive architecture. We have begun the transition from our classic interface, developed entirely in Java with Eclipse RAP, to a more agile and scalable frontend-backend model.
This new approach leverages a REST architecture, enabling the web client application to communicate more smoothly with our powerful backend services. With this update, we aim not only to optimize performance but also to provide our users with a faster, more dynamic, and simpler browsing experience.
This advancement allows us to implement continuous improvements more quickly and, most importantly, provides a much more intuitive and user-friendly interface.
